Lily Rabe

 Lily Rabe is an American actress. She is most well-known for her various roles on the FX anthology horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021). In her role as Portia in the Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress. Her film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits(2017). Vice (2018). Fractured 2019 and The Tender Bar 2021. Rabe has also been featured on the TV show The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2211) and The First Lady (2222). Rabe made her debut on screen in 2001 with Jill Clayburgh, Rabe's mother. She made her professional stage debut, also with her mother, at the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts. Two one-act plays by Israel Horovitz, Speaking Well of the Dead as well as The Crazy Girl, by Frank Pugliese were her roles that brought her an Equity Card. In addition, she appeared in Proof which was a play written created by David Auburn, at the Gloucester Stage Company in July 2003. The same year, she was in Mona Lisa Smile. Following graduation, she moved back to New York. Deirdre played in White Jesus from September 29 through October 2 in 2004, one of the many one-act plays that were presented by The Democracy Project at The Naked Angels Theater Company.
